The period of intermitten rain has not been too bad on the plants. Many are doing well. The pepper plants, however, did not take too well to the wet weather and to the glaring sunlight and only two still stand. We are looking into erecting timber structures to shade them and getting new ones to be added. The sweet potatoes will be harvested soon and the whole plot is going to be given a new lease of life. A different plant is going to take over. Watch this space.
